What is an aluminum panel curtain wall?
2023-03-31
Aluminum single-panel curtain walls use high-quality, high-strength aluminum alloy plates, with common thicknesses of 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 MM, model 3003, and state H24. Their structure mainly consists of embedded plates, panels, reinforcing ribs, and corner brackets. The embedded plates are connected to the structure via bolts for load-bearing. Corner brackets can be directly formed by bending or stamping the panel, or they can be riveted onto the small edge of the panel. Reinforcing ribs are connected to the back of the panel with electric welding screws (screws are welded directly to the back of the panel), forming a solid whole, greatly enhancing the strength and rigidity of the aluminum single-panel curtain wall, ensuring flatness and resistance to wind and earthquakes during long-term use. If sound insulation and heat insulation are required, high-efficiency sound insulation and heat insulation materials can be installed inside the aluminum panel.
